About Leah

I've been working with children to some degree for about 10 years. I have 4 nieces and 4 nephews to help take care of now, but before that I worked as an au pair for an Australian family with 4 boys (10, 8, 6 & 4). Recently, I completed an in person course to receive a TEFL certification and it's lead me right back to wanting to nanny again while I complete my degree. Laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, light house work, meal prepping and even cooking dinner are tasks I've performed in the past that I wouldn't mind discussing details on in person. When it comes to children I think organization and being dependable are the two most important things. My best relationships with the children I've cared for have been ones that adhere to a consistent schedule for the times I will be with them and the times their parent/parents will be. I strive to have fun, encourage independence and provide a very supporting role in the family I choose to work for. Feel free to ask questions!
