About Leah

I started caring for younger children when I was about 8 years old when my little sister was born because my parents were having a difficult time in their life. My mom passed when I was 16 and my youngest sister was only 2. I played a huge part in raising her into the young lady she is today. I've always been someone my friends and family can rely on to babysit because I love kids and they can trust me with their little ones. I'm actually on here because my best friend suggested I should try a career in childcare. I love cooking and cleaning. But most of all I love bringing people joy and helping others. I love all animals and I'm a total cat lady but dogs are pretty awesome too! I am a former EMT, but that wasn't the right path for me because it broke my heart. I can be a total goofball at times, but I understand when it's appropriate. I have leadership skills from being a manager, so I can be serious. I don't have any children of my own, but that is my goal someday.
