About Leah

I love working with both Special Needs and Seniors. I believe everyone should be treated with respect and dignity. They need someone compassionate to care for them and they're fun. My aim is to give good quality care, laughter, understanding and compassion to each individual I care for depending on their needs. Understanding is definitely needed because the person is not only battling their ailment but also the realization that they're unable to do the things they used to. Encouragement is another huge thing. Sometimes a person wants to know that someone other than family is behind them pushing them to do things. I find people sometimes respond to strangers with the same information family gives that they decline. I love to see their abilities shine through the disability.
