About Lauri

I guess I've been a giver most of my life. I feel more comfortable with older people than I do with a younger crowd. You might say I have an old soul. I grew up in Fremont with my family and also lived and cared for a grandmother with Alzheimer's. Later, I helped out with a grandfather with ALS. Eventually, my father also got Alzheimer's. I've been blessed over the years, getting to know a lot of people and their families, helping them with their challenges and daily lives. Diseases I am mostly familiar with are brain damage, Dementia, Alzheimer's, ALS, cancer, ALL kinds of hospice care, Parkinson's disease, and MRSA. I have a very fun, warm personality. Duties include grooming, chores, errands, Appts, exercises, meals, wound care, companionship, medication administration, outings, Hoyer Lift, transferring experience, etc...
