About Lauren

My grandmother lived to be 98, and I loved spending time with her. She taught me to cook, sew, quilt, fish, and everything in between. I really value the wisdom we are given from our elderly loved ones. I have recently been helping out a neighbor with her 97-year-old grandmother and have found that I really enjoy spending time with her and helping her get around. Because of my experience teaching kindergarten, I have the gift of patience and understanding. I have little, but meaningful, experience with elderly care including easing the anxiety that comes with dementia, helping get ready for the day, and talking/learning about the good old days:).
