About Lauren

Hello!! My name is Lauren, I am a 22-year-old graduate Student at Duke Divinity School. I am currently studying to be an ordained pastor and after I graduate (about 2 years from now) will be pursuing a degree in social work, public policy, or law. With that being said, I love kids / pets and have been babysitting and involved in youth ministry for about seven years now! Most importantly, I was an assistant manager at a group home in my gap year between my undergrad and graduate school, and worked full time with a variety of foster children. I cooked each night for 10 children, did their laundry, helped with school work, entertained them, and tried to advocate for them on their behalf. I had to handle a LOT of different situations at the group home so suffice it to say, I'm well prepared for taking care of your kiddos! :)
