About Lauren

Hi! I am Lauren. I am an experienced, high-end sitter and tutor. My childcare experience includes running an K-6 after-school program at Bear River Charter School in 2017, teaching at a daycare in Providence in 2018, substitute teaching K-12, nannying a 3-child family in 2019, nannying and homeschooling a 6-child family in 2020 and 2021, and nannying a single-child family in 2022. I have worked hard to maintain relevant certifications including a food handlers permit and a wilderness first responder certification (advanced CPR and First Aid training.) My childcare philosophies are rooted in avoiding screens and radiating positivity. I think it is important to help children feel heard and to give them opportunities to play in the outdoors. I am finishing up my degree at USU this semester and spend my summers river guiding luxury trips down the Colorado River!
