About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, fun-loving, and optimistic. I started working with kids when I practically was a kid. I grew up with younger cousins and would help my older siblings babysit until I was responsible enough to babysit on my own--around the 14. I spent summers in high school as a life guard or nannying 1-2 kids within their home. My skills include displaying patience, coming up with creative ideas to spend time, and the ability to multitask. Every person, especially kids, require patience, and I have learned from a young age how to manage stressful situations and remain calm. I also know that kids are very energetic and are constantly learning. Filling their time with activities, crafts, and games, not only helps them learn, but also grow. Throughout my education and career, I have learned to multitask. I currently work with a large amount of clients with varying needs--because of this, I have to think on my feet and manage multiple tasks at any time.
