I have made childcare my career and I consider myself a professional. I go above and beyond to create an environment where the children feel safe, loved and happy. Although, I enjoy working with all ages, I especially love the opportunities that younger children provide. These include helping them to develop self confidence, self esteem and creativity. Depending on the age of the child a typical day not only includes time in the child's home, but outings to places such as libraries, parks, playgrounds, museums, aquariums, etc. These activities are intended to provide the child with mental and physical stimulation as well as social interaction. My children look forward to this part of the day. Time in the home is usually spent doing arts and crafts, story time and games. I am an energetic individual with a tremendous amount of patience. I am attentive to the needs of the children and I make a strong connection with both the children and the parents. I have truly become part of the families who have employed me. Because I have made an emotional investment with the child and the family, it enables me to provide proper discipline and structure in line with the parent's wishes and philosophies. Although my day revolves around the children, household pets are not a problem. During my down time I am willing to do laundry and light housekeeping. I will also bath and feed the children prior to the parent's arrival home; providing you more quality time with your children at the end of the day. In summary, I am a highly experienced, responsible childcare provider, with proven qualifications to care for all ages of children from infant through grade school. I have an outstanding track record of long term relationships with local families, who will be happy to provide references upon request.
