About Lauren

Hello- my name is Lauren! I've worked with kids officially for about 8 years, but I grew up in a family with tons of children and have always had kids around me, helped out with childcare, etc. For that reason, spending time with children is engrained in my personality and comes very natural to me. My community really instilled in me is how important it is to create a loving and fun environment for kids to grow up in, and I strive to be a constant and steady positive force for ALL children, regardless if I'm working for a family or not. Problem solving, working through difficult and hard to understand emotions, and being able to communicate ones needs are just a few examples of values I find very important to instill in kids. I try my hardest to begin inserting these values at a young age to help parents in preparing their little ones for the real world. Above all else, being an authority figure that kids feel safe coming to and can also have fun with is always my top priority.
