About Lauren

As a previous middle school teacher, piano teacher of almost 20 years, and a mother of a young child, I have experience working with multiple age groups. I love working with children and engaging with them in fun, creative and educational activities. I started babysitting when I was in middle school myself, and have continued to work with children to the present day. As a teacher, I also have experience working with children who have different needs, and quickly building rapport with different personalities. I am also CPR certified! My son is almost 4 months old and will need to come with me to care for your child/children. I'm interested in childcare because I love working with children, but I am looking to step away from the administrative, testing, and scheduling constraints of the classroom. Both of my parents were teachers, and my husband is a teacher in the area. Coming from a family of teachers, I would love to provide fun and educational opportunities for your child.
