About Lauren

Hello! I am a kind, patient tutor and caregiver with 10 years of experience working in education, child care, and coaching settings. I am a full time English language teacher in Grand Rapids, Michigan working with students ages 4-11. I am living in Virginia this summer and am looking for a summer caregiving job while I'm there. I have been an educator for almost 4 years. I adore children and know how to set children up for success in the home and in school. I value routine, personal responsibility, love and kindness, and above all child happiness. Before I was a teacher I tutored, nannied and coached. I am experienced in making a supportive environment for children that fosters social-emotional growth and safety.
