About Lauren

I am a NJ State certified Nursery-8th grade teacher and a stay at home Mom for the past 21 years. My children have Special Needs so being at home afforded me the opportunity to gain experience in Special Needs and childcare. I have an abundance of experience that cannot be taught. My nurturing, caring and energetic nature enables me to be the best caregiver and educator I can be! I achieved my BA in Psychology, an Elementary Teaching Certification - Nursery / 8th grade, and graduate coursework in education. I also worked in everything from pre-school, Montessori school, private schools and traditional public schools. In addition to this I was an Art Teacher & Director of the Bloomfield Rec. Program for 12 years I am looking for a position where I can utilize my life experience, education, and compassion to help create a loving environment for your children. I also can take care of pets and do light housekeeping.
