About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I have worked in the field of childcare for the past 9 years! I started watching my younger sister when I was 10 before babysitting for other families at the age of 13, volunteering as a cheer coach and dance teacher in my free time. At 16, I began working as a camp counselor/program aide, which I have done since then- first through the Frankfort Park District, and then at Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Association, gaining extensive experience with the disability community. I am comfortable assisting children and individuals with disabilities with toileting, feeding (manual and Gastronomy Tube), wheelchair transportation, and accessibility. I am CPR, CPI, First-Aid, Mandated Reporting, and ADA Accessibility certified! At the end of April, I'll be graduating from Michigan State University and moving home to Frankfort, Illinois. I would love to find a consistent summer nannying position, as I have nannied during all four years of my time at Michigan State!
