I am an RN of 5 years. I have experience working in labor and delivery as well as the NICU. I have been NPR certified in the past but currently have my BLS and ACLS certifications. I have been working with adult and elderly patients for the last 3 years. I am seasoned in medication administration, tube feedings, dietary restrictions, pain management, wound care, rehabilitation, IV therapy, and generalized chronic illness management. I love my job. I really enjoy building relationships and learning about the people I care for. I am passionate about helping others and spending time with kids as well. I have numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors that I have cared for in the past. I will be in Springfield, MA for the summer working as a travel nurse. I typically work 3 12-hour day shifts a week at Baystate in Springfield, so my time with you would need to be flexible around those days. Let me know if you're interested!

Lauren is a positive and motivated young lady. She’s extremely organized and efficient. She was a high school peer mentor in my second grade classroom. She worked one to one with student in small groups, and with large groups of students. She naturally has a way of thinking of creative games, activities, and fun learning ideas. She respected my classroom style and management strategies. I appreciated her confidence in dealing with misbehavior and conflict resolution. Lauren is very reliable, dependable, and loving. She will go above, and beyond what is expected. Lauren comes from a large extended family. I know she has even more experience with children when she has family gatherings. I would highly recommend her for a position as a caregiver for you.
