About Lauren

I was born and raised in a family with a home daycare, and began helping my mother as soon as I could. Establishing my own relationships with the children and families who shared my home, I began weekend babysitting and nannying by age 13. I worked with the same family through all of high school, doing full-time nannying in the summer and after-school care during the school year. After college I took a full-time nannying position with a newborn, who I was with for about two years, through their second child. I am still very close to this family of now three, despite having left to pursue a job in my field (fashion). Since taking care of children was such an integral part of my upbringing, I feel comfortable with just about any situation. I have experience with early mornings and bed time, after-school care and carpooling to extracurricular activities, over-night care and travel stay, etc.
