About Laurel

Hi! My name is Laurel. I would love to help care for your special family member and for you to know they are in good hands with me. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years and have been a nanny for all age children and I also took care of my father at home when he was sick and eventually cared for him along with hospice. I'd describe my personality as kind, understanding and gentle. I'm looking for a job that is close to my home and where I can assist a person to help them do what makes them happy and comfortable. I also want to give their family piece of mind that their family member is being well cared for. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren. I also see my 89-year-old mother at least once a week. My skills include assisting with daily living skills and keeping them safe. I enjoy listening to stories of the past and helping them achieve what they want to do during the day.
