About Laura

I am a RN and have specialized in pediatrics. My most recent nursing Job was as a school nurse in Chelsea . With a case load of 252 children and being the only nurse I decided not to renew my contract for another year. I found a nannying job in my town (Marblehead) with a wonderful family. I cared for their 3-month-old son until he was 16 months. They decided to enroll him into daycare for social and financial reasons. I still babysit for them occasionally and have done overnights if they travel. They also have a sassy 6-year-old who I watched when she was not in school. My primary role was for Mr. S I enjoyed taking him for walks and adventures, making home made baby food, practicing Developmental milestones etc... However the most important role I had was too keep him safe and loved. Lots of snuggles and singing! I found this experience so gratifying and fulfilling that I would like to continue being a nanny with another family.
