About Laura

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, caring, patient, and professional. I have worked in rehabilitative medicine, hospitals, and long-term care facilities for over 30 years. I would like to apply my experience and compassionate care in a more personalized home environment, allowing me to focus my care on one person. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help seniors in their homes. I can help with pet care, light cooking and cleaning, transportation to appointments, shopping, companionship, as well as medical and nursing care/needs. I've been a nurse for 35 years, most of my experience has been working with seniors and adults with medical needs such as stroke, orthopedic, and neurological recoveries. I have a Masters Degree in Nursing, am a CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse), and hold a national board certification in Gerontological nursing and palliative care.
