About Laura

I am energetic, easy going, patient and flexible I like working with kids because they bring me joy. Kids are endlessly curious, eager to learn, and so imaginative. I also get to learn from them, share their enthusiasm, and be silly. I have a 4-year-old nephew and he is one of my favorite people! Yes, there are times when his emotions are big, but after managing those feelings together he is an unstoppable tornado. He is always so excited to see me and keeps my energy high. I'm happy I get to be a part of his growth, and I get sad every time I say goodbye to him. I really like the person I am around kids and that palpable excitement and sense of purpose when seeing them flourish. In my spare time, I like to workout, go thrifting, explore new places in town with friends, and hike! One thing you should know about me is that I'm dependable, responsable, and honest
