About Laura

I am a retired teacher who was certified in K-12 Varying Exceptionalities. My last stint was 11 Years at a high school working with students who had low reading levels preventing them from being successful in all academics. The population varied as to students with disabilities, regular education students, and were in grades 9-12. I have worked at the elementary level teaching grades 3-6 in all subject areas and with varying disabilities. I was an Adjunct Professor at a community college for 8 years part time in the evenings working with students who had low comprehension levels.
