About Laura

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, generous and kind I like caring for seniors because they tend to be overlooked and under appreciated. It was my professional choice as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. I always got more benefit than they did. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work part time, and apply my skills learned as a PTA while doing so in a caregiver role. I need flexibility, choices and variety. I started caring for seniors when I started working in Skilled care facilities in 1998. In my spare time, I like to run, work in my flowers, travel. I'm also an avid reader. One thing you should know about me is that I take caring for others and especially Seniors as a privilege. I believe open communication and transparency are priorities. My skills include professional experience with exercises that are appropriate for a particular person, knowledgeable in transfers and ambulation.
