Available immediately. Very experienced in Dementia/ Sundowner's Syndrome and Alzheimer's elderly care as well as short-term care following a fall or major surgery. My most recent job was caring for an eldery man with Alzheimer's, age 70, 3 days per week for over a year who was recently placed in a memory center, and I previously worked caring for a lady, age 95, with Alzheimer's and limited mobility. I was with her for just over a year. Duties included assistance with bathing & hygeine, help going to restroom including mobility assistance and changing of adult disposable underwear, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, encouraging activities and interaction, and light housekeeping. Prior to the above jobs, I provided care for an elderly couple for 6 years.
