About Laura

Hi! My name is Laura and I am originally from Michigan. I have been in New York for almost 10 years now and have somehow managed not to get my own pet quite yet. Which is why I'd love to petsit for you! I love to travel and feel I might still be too transient to get a four-legged friend of my own. During covid, I traveled through the west house and petsitting for families all over the country. I love animals of all kinds and find that being around them is very therapeutic. I love being physically active, walking dogs, going to the park, and just being outside in general. I have spent much of my time in NYC working in people's homes so I know how to respect boundaries. I currently work in operations for a charter school in NYC but would love to find some additional work to fund certifications to continue my education. My current dream animal would be a German Shepherd or Chocolate Lab. I am an open book and I'm happy to answer any questions, so please don't hesitate!
