About Laura

Hello! My name is Laura. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood education. Throughout college, I had experience working with children through my clinical experience and 2 years working at a daycare. After I graduated, I spent the summer as a missionary, leading a summer catechetical program at different parishes throughout the Diocese of Rockford for Kindergarten-6th graders during the day and Jr. High and High School students in the evening. I taught 1st grade for a year and a half at St. Mark's Catholic School in Peoria and I am currently applying for jobs in a Catholic school setting in the Archdiocese of Chicago. I am open to being a babysitter, nanny, or tutor for your family during the summer. I have references available upon request. I speak a little bit of Spanish but I understand more than I speak.
