About Lani

I like working with kids because I love seeing children grow and learn about new ways to simply just exist. As well as nourishing their minds to crave knowledge and new experiences in life. I started working with kids when I was 19 working in the safe-key RAP program. I'm now 21 and am employed by Kindercare. So I've been working with children for almost 2 years. In my spare time, I like to do crafty things like scrapbooking or sewing. It's something I'd love to teach to children so they could have an opportunity to express their creativity. My skills include interpersonal skills as I'm able to connect and forge a good relationship with not just the child but parents as well. I have good communication skills and know the importance of being able to communicate what's happening to a child in an age appropriate way. I also have extremely good patience and don't get frustrated easily. I give children the same patience I'd except for myself. I'm allergic to cats
