I am interested in applying for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position. My extensive experience working with children and geriatric patients in the medical field has given me a high level of expertise as a nurse in ensuring the care and treatment of my patients. I have over 23 years training and experience as being a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant, Private Duty Nurse, and a LPN with children and geriatric patients in short-term and long-term care facilities. I have had success in my experiences leading and supervising other nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. As well as all the intricate details that come with being a case manager within my field of work. Some of my day-today duties have included, the administration of medication, the scheduling and transporting of patients to appointments, communication with doctors and families, the ordering of supplies, file/record maintenance, maintaining patient confidentiality, caring for the mentally disabled and chemically addicted patients, and delivering excellent customer service. I have been exposed to de-escalating unsafe psychological behaviors and ventilator/tracheotomy management as well. My resume is enclosed for your review.
