About Laila

Hello! I'm Laila, I'm 22, a recent graduate from UCSD and a San Diego local for the past few years. Recently (and currently), I've spent over a year and a half working in the legal field, but my passion for childcare has drawn me back to nannying. I'm seeking a less demanding job that allows me the flexibility to focus on my studies for graduate school. My journey began when I was 14; I decided to take courses in basic first aid, CPR, and a babysitting course through the American Red Cross. Before college, I worked in childcare at a daycare in my hometown during my junior and senior year of high school. And during college, before I entered the legal field, I nannied for a couple different families, which I loved. Babysitting/nannying has been a cherished part of my life since middle school, extending through high school, college and even post-graduation. The connections I've built with families and the kiddos I have the privilege to care for have been incredibly rewarding.
