I currently work Part-Time as a nurse at Highland Hospital. I have worked as a nurse for 5 years. I am looking for part-time work in addition to my current job. I enjoy working with children and am comfortable with pets. I myself own a rescue dog and two cats. I love crafting and painting, sewing, reading, board games, and outdoor activities like walking and swimming. I am BLS certified and have been trained in CPR. I have some experience working with children. In high school (2009) I nannied one summer for a 7-month-old baby, and baby-sat for two 10-year-old boys occasionally. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and has a pump. I would be comfortable working with a child with diabetes. I also am comfortable doing light housework. In addition to working with children I have worked with older adults, and am passionate about holistic care and helping individuals achieve their goals and help them meet their needs.
