This caregiver was hired for a one time basis only! This caregiver was hired for five hours. We hired Krystalle to babysit our 3 toddlers and our nine month old as we attended an event. Krystalle arrived 45 minutes late. I attempted to contact her 2x and she texted back "I'm on my way." When I called again, she answered in a frantic and said "I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm five minutes away, sorry coming from another job with much traffic." When she finally arrived, she didn't look like her profile picture, instead she looked disheveled in her old scrubs, and wearing an old face mask from her job in the morning. I asked her to make up the time since she arrived late and mentioned she can only stay 30 minutes, even though she arrived 45 min late. Thankfully, my Dad was at home with the kids and he mentioned she was coughing and had a sniffling nose. She took off her mask and was wiping her nose the entire time. She did minimal work with the kids as my Dad was cautious of her cough and sniffing nose. At the end of her tour, she informed my Dad she was supposed to be paid for 8 hours and hasn't been paid yet. I speak with her over the phone and let her know we paid her through care.com. She said okay, well most clients pay her through an app and continues to request $$. I let her know she has already been paid and we will not make a double payment. She finally agreed and left. I would not hire this caregiver again and do not recommend her as a onetime caregiver!
