Hello! My name is Kristin, I am 34 years old and a Folsom Native. I have a compassionate heart and love interacting and caring for the elderly and children! My experience includes 4-5 years as a daily caregiver. Care included but was not limited to: household management, transportation to appointments, running errands, basic meal preparation, assisting in dressing, daily walks, PT assistance, aid w/technology and keeping in touch with family etc. Most importantly companionship. My personal observation/opinion is many folks talk around the elderly, not to them! I love engaging and being present. I myself have cared for my grandparents, who have/had conditions of Parkinson's, lifelong arthritis and Alzheimer's. Of course none of this care was simple due to my personal affections but I loved the time I got to spend with my loved ones and learned about these conditions and the patience and tenderness required to best care for each of them.
