About Kristin

I want to serve families who have been touched by alzheimers/dementia and I am not afraid of any job. This heartbreaking disease takes a toll on families, and especially spouses. I was a caregiver for my husband for 7 years during his battle with frontotemporal dementia. I was heavily involved both when he lived at home and when he was in nursing care and am very familiar with toileting and feeding needs. I also had a strong relationship and involvement with his hospice team for the last year and a half of his life. I am currently a special education teacher during the day and heavily involved in my church, Families of Faith in Channahon. I am available at night and on weekends, though I am available for occasional overnights.
