About Kristin

Hello! I just graduated from Niagara University with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education Birth-6th grade. This means that I am certified to teach up to 6th grade. In order to graduate from Niagara's Masters program, I had to have 150 supervised hours in the classroom observing/helping out/teaching some lessons. I got to experience 37. 5 hours each in a Kindergarten, 1st grade, 6th grade, and 3rd grade classroom. I also student taught in Grand Island for 7 weeks in a third grade classroom where I was the full classroom teacher. Throughout these weeks in the classroom, observing and teaching, I learned a lot. I am so grateful for my experience at NU because I got to experience and teach many different age groups. During my Masters program, I also substitute taught at Niagara Wheat-field on my free days. Between my Masters program and substitute teaching, I feel that I have the experience needed to tutor your child. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns! :)
