I enjoyed working in memory care homes for 7 years as a caregiver and medication tech. I take pride in providing compassionate care to elderly and those with Alzheimer's/ Dementia. I believe it really takes a lot of patience and empathy. I do my best to improve my patient's quality of life while assisting with activities of daily living. I have a 6-year-old daughter and the typical care facility schedule no longer worked for me. I then became a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a Long Term Care Pharmacy for 3 years. However, I recently left as I really miss patient care and I am now pursuing my dream to become a nurse. I am looking for a part time schedule to care for your loved one(s).
