I'd describe my personality as gentle, engaging, fun, adventurous. I like caring for seniors because my Dad had dementia and Parkinson's disease. My sister and I were his primary caregivers until he passed. I'm passionate about elderly people being comfortable in their own homes while being cared for by people they may not know well. They should feel safe esp if they struggle with confusion or mobility. I love older people similarly to the way some people love kids. I believe they deserve to be cared for the way I would want to be cared for. Registered Medical Assistant, trauma informed care & many more certs' you can ask about. One thing you should know about me is I believe the family member's peace of mind is just as important as the care given to the client. My top 3 senior care skills include, 1) compassionate patience, 2) experience with mobility struggles, 3) great active listener/companionship. I am a certified advanced chaplain as well.
