About Kristie

Freelance artist who loves child care! I've been a nanny for many years and have also taught art in a studio that trained classical realism for quite some time. I taught in a 6-12 student classroom which helped me be personable and fun around kids, but also keep a structured calm environment. While teaching, I would also work with special needs kids and try to create a fun, loving environment for everyone who comes in. I am great at being involved with children with various activities and themed weeks depending on their age and interests. Some of my favorite include baking, crafting, games, scavenger hunts, jeopardy, & various outdoor activities. If online school is something your children need help with: I have homeschooled children in the past, as well as grew up being homeschooled myself. I also have taken marriage and family psychology and child development courses in college. I typically do laundry or clean up if needed as well.
