About Kristie

I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate & kind. I like working with kids because they keep us connected to God. I enjoy observing their perspective on the world. Children are always eager to learn making teaching enjoyable! I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility while financial fullfiling! I would love to meet a family that resonates with my personality and beliefs. I started working with kids at age 12 as a Girl Scout. As a teen I babysat friends and neighbors children then nanny jobs during my adolescence. I have recently been a teacher for grades Pre-k - 2nd as well as a caregiver in my church and a Bible study group. I am comfortable caring for all ages. In my spare time, I like to hike, garden and volunteer in my community. My skills include listening, creating a peaceful environment unique to the individual and being able to improvise for best care of the individual(s) in various situations.
