My personality traits as a caregiver are patience, compassion, humor, being present, detail oriented, able to accept help, willing to set boundaries, cooperative. The work that I do helps clients improve their functioning and well-being. I can feel good about myself and my job because I help people strengthen, resolve and become more independent. Caregiving can be exhausting, but it can also be immensely rewarding. Being a caregiver can make a huge difference in people's lives. By providing companionship and emotional support, caregiving makes other's lives less lonely and more joyful. It also helps them stay connected with their community and remain independent for longer periods of time.
