Nice to meet you! My names Kourtney, I have two boys B(14) and Z(7). We enjoy riding bikes and spending time together. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant. I received my certification in 2014. I've worked in nursing homes, private in-home care, and assisted living facilities. I prefer in home so I'm able to give my patient the benefit of having my full attention and assistance while being in the comfort of their home. I have experience with hospice care, wound care, dementia and Alzheimer's, CPAP machines, catheters, colostomy bags, ROM exercises, feeding assistance, and medication assistance just to name a few. I'm extremely passionate about caring for others, and providing not only physical care but emotional support, companionship, or any other needs specific to my patient. I love to learn and help others. I adapt well to new circumstances and environments. I have great communication skills, and hope to make your loved one feel safe and secure!

Kourtney quickly established a rapport with my wife who has multiple health issues. Kourtney followed the protocols for my wife's health and wellness as well as for her activities of daily living [ADL]. Kourtney is observant and made suggestions that helped my wife along in each area. Also, the suggestions were used by our other PCAs when they worked with my wife ... Kourtney followed the recommendations of our therapists, especially, the speech therapist who had specific suggestions for communicating with my wife including listening, use of simple statements and questions, utilizing physical prompts and demonstration ... She involved my wife in painting, making bracelets, and other crafts ... Solid as a personal care aid/ CNA.
