About Kobbe

I am currently a college student majoring in Social Work, who is specializing in working with children and adolescents. I have been working at the local YMCA in Lexington for three years. During my time at the YMCA, I have been working with a range of ages 11 months old to 12 years of age. During that time I worked in the Child Watch program, with ages 11 months old to 5 years old, After School program, with ages 6 to 12 years old, and Summer Camp, with ages 6 to 12 years old as well. My experience with this range of children has allowed me to develop multiple skills, including coming up with learning-based and recreational activities, maintaining a safe and consistent environment, establishment of supportive and consistent boundaries, and being able to communicate with multiple ages from various backgrounds. I am currently certified for Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association, and can provide a copy of my card as requested.
