About Kinkela

I'm an anchorage local with a background in environmental education and wildlife biology. In my winter off-season I'd love to step in and help families wherever they may need it! I have over 8 years of experience working with children (everything from nannying, working as a youth educator for the national park service, and currently cross country ski coaching for local youth!) I value clear communication, kindness, and having fun! I'd describe my personality as energetic, compassionate, and enthusiastic! My first job was working as a nanny 8 years ago, ever since I've also worked with kids as a cello tutor, camp counselor, canoe instructor, juggling teacher, life guard, environmental educator, and ski coach! These experiences have led me to value education, empathy, and having fun! In my spare time, I like to paint, ski, ice skate, cook, and read!
