Owned and operated 3 elderly care facilities for 17 years with an excellent reputation for providing great care. Dementia practitioner certified. Experience with many forms of dementia, non-ambulatory, hospital equipment, urinary catheters, tracheotomies, tube feeding. Cared for a wide range of needs when it comes to the elderly including transporting them to appointments, administering medications including injections, taking vital signs, observing and monitoring different dementia related behaviors, end of life care and caring for those in hospice programs. Always really enjoyed being around the elderly in my facilities. (Closed during Covid due to many staffing issues) Always enjoyed the relationships I developed with the elderly and their families. Motivated. Enjoy finding ways to make the day meaningful. My top priority has always been that families feel very comfortable knowing their loved one is very well cared for along with developing a friendship with the elderly individual.
