About Kimberly

My entire adult life has been actively involved with making a difference in the children, our future. My husband and I fostered for over 20 years and adopted 4 children. I operated an in-home day care for several years while my little one was growing, and now that my children are almost full grown, I work as an aide in the schools and/or as a teacher in early childhood. Two of my children have special needs. I also worked at elementary schools for 8 years as a resource aide working with special needs. I've taught kindergarten. I love all children and enjoy getting to know each unique child and love to develop a healthy relationship and help them acquire self-esteem and a positive feeling about learning new things. I'm also a pet lover. We currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. The pets are our kids too!
