I have a deep care for those whom I serve while respecting the dynamic of their homes and families. I have often been told that I have a knack for helping patients to progress when others have faced challenges. I attribute this to creative problem-solving, observance of non-verbal cues and understanding psychology that is often behind patient obstacles. This may be as basic -- and yet as important as -- determining whether a client may be more inclined to eat nourishing foods or rest if we were to first address hindrances such as bland food, an uncomfortable utensil or pillow, physical discomfort or anxiety. For those who are unable to communicate, it is my duty to anticipate their needs wherever possible.
