About Kiersten

I am a teacher and will be starting my 5th year teaching. I have taught 1st grade but have experience in other grade levels. I have babysit off and on for 5+ year and most of those have been repeat clients. I like to do fun things with your kids and get them outdoors whenever possible. I'd describe my personality as fun, caring, and on-task. I like tutoring because I get to help kids learn new things. I love seeing the lightbulb moment where they understand a concept and seeing the confidence soar through them. I'm looking for a job that is able to be flexible as I will still be teaching full time. I am looking for a family or families that will be welcoming and allow me to grow with their kid(s). I started tutoring when I started teaching 3 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read, watch tv, play with my dogs, go on walks, and relax. One thing you should know about me is I like to ensure that I am enforcing your rules and behaviors.
