About Kiersten

For as long as I can remember, I have been around children. I was nicknamed the "baby charmer in my family" because any time I was with my cousins, I would gravitate to the youngest cousin and take care of them or be with them to keep them busy. I also worked as a counselor during summers for 5 years in my teens. Most recently, I worked with a family for 4 years. When I started their son had just turned 2 and their daughter was 9. Their son is neurotypical and their daughter has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. I worked with both kids doing age and ability appropriate activities, educational work, hygiene, meal preparation, laundry and cleaning house. I absolutely love seeing children reach their full potential and being a part of that is why I am continuing my education into early childhood education to become a teacher for an inclusive classroom.
