When I was 8 my great grandmother was in hospice. My family members and I looked after her while she was home for her final days. We changed her, bathed her, and gave her medication. When I was 10 my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and once she went through chemotherapy, it was hard to get things done for herself so I kept the house clean for her and made sure she had whatever she needed at her bedside while my mom did the cooking and made sure she bathed and changed her clothes daily. I used to work for a company with an elderly mental patient that had a speech impediment. I was the only one at the facility who could handle her according to her file. I was always called in for OT to assist with her. I am overly experienced for the job! I can take great care of your family.
