We hired Kianna to care for our 3 children and had an estimated starting date set with her. Upon asking for confirmation of that date she stated she was no longer interested in caring for our children and was taking a position with higher pay with another family. This happened even after we had already interviewed her and also she had watched our children one day for a "trial run" to make sure she wanted to become our sitter. She never told us she was shopping around for another family. This could have ended very badly for us since we almost gave notice to our current daycare center that we were removing our children and going with a sitter. Her last minute withdrawal from our employment was unprofessional, not to mention the heartache that our kids now have being rejected by someone who they thought was going to be their nanny. Please do not do this to another family or employer in the future.
