About Kevin

I'd describe my personality as understanding, compassionate, and gentle. I like working with kids because I understand them pretty easily. I am very comfortable around kids and have a lot of patience for them. I currently work as a substitute teacher and I am in college. I'm looking for a job that I can provide safe and compassionate care for children via babysitting or tutoring. I started working with kids in early 2023 as a substitute teacher. I've worked at least 25 hours a week since starting. I want to make a career out of being a teacher. In my spare time, I like to mostly read and explore nature. My favorite subject is history, so I'm very knowledgeable in that area. I tend to go on walks at the Couterie forest in City Park and the gravel trail at Bayou Sauvage. One thing you should know about me is that I stutter and I'm a little shy. My stutter and shyness mostly goes away around children though. My skills include situational awareness, attention to detail, and empathy.
