In May 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Learning and Development and another Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas with Latin Honors Magna Cum Laude. I have been conducting research examining adolescent cell phone use for the last 1.5 years.
Additionally, I have been tutoring/mentoring for over 9 years off and on, but recently 3 years full-time. I have had great success with the young adolescents I work with. Though mostly boys, girls tend to work well with me also. Some children just need a good role model to talk to, while others are struggling with subject matter. A lot of the problem, in my experience, generally stems from either organization or motivation. I do not just want to tutor your child. I want to set them up to be successful in life.
My forte is in mathematics, where the last assessment I took, I scored a perfect score on the Math SAT. Also, Science is a strong suit, as I took two years of college-level Physics in high school and several Biology courses throughout college. English is equally a strong subject for me, due to the literary nature of the many psychological reports I have completed.
My father has been a high school mathematics teacher and business teacher, and my girlfriend is currently a 3rd grade elementary school teacher. I surround myself with people who love helping children. I am ready to help right away.
